I grew up in Oklahoma City but spent much of my young adult life in the military town of Lawton, Oklahoma.
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology in 1995 and a Master's of Science in Behavioral Sciences in 1997, both from Cameron University.
I started working in mental health in 1994 and completed requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2001.
During my career I have worked with adults in a community mental health center, and children and teens in foster care and in a psychiatric hospital.
In addition, to counseling I have also had the pleasure of providing hundreds of hours of training to mental health professionals.
I have been married to my beautiful wife since 1994 and have two wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and running.
